Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Plasterer Offsider to join our dynamic construction team in Gilbert, Arizona. This is a fast-paced role perfect for individuals who thrive in a busy environment and are committed to supporting skilled tradespeople. You will be an integral part of our plastering crew, assisting with material handling, site preparation, and general support to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a Monday to Friday position, offering consistent work and the opportunity to grow your skills within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled plasterers with various tasks on commercial and residential job sites.
  • Handle and transport plastering materials, including bags of plaster, sand, cement, and tools.
  • Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, mixing plaster, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are ready for use.
  • Perform general labor duties as required to support the plastering team.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, maintaining a keen awareness of site hazards.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries of materials.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace throughout the day.

Required Skills

  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to showing up on time.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety practices.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Gilbert area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6+ months) in a construction or manual labor role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
  • Experience with plastering tools or materials.
  • Ability to operate basic power tools safely.
