Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Companion Aide for a 100% Non-Voice/Non-Clinical role within our administrative support team. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and coordination of our companion services by handling all related administrative and logistical tasks without direct patient care responsibilities or telephone interactions. The Senior Companion Aide will be responsible for meticulous record-keeping, scheduling, resource management, and providing essential support to companion staff and their clients through written communication and system management. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain comprehensive client and companion records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate companion schedules, appointments, and service assignments using our internal systems.
  • Process and organize documentation related to companion visits, service reports, and compliance forms.
  • Facilitate written communication between companion staff, administrative teams, and external partners as needed.
  • Monitor inventory of administrative supplies and reorder as required to support companion services.
  • Assist with data entry and report generation to track service metrics and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve administrative issues proactively, escalating complex problems to management.
  • Provide general administrative support to the companion services department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative or support experience in a healthcare or service-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and organize complex schedules and documentation without direct voice interaction.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with a strong command of English grammar and spelling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database management systems.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a non-clinical, administrative capacity.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive work ethic.
  • Demonstrated empathy and understanding for the needs of clients and companion staff.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with healthcare-specific scheduling or electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality protocols.
  • Prior experience in a senior administrative or lead support role.
