Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and analyze security alerts, events, and logs using AI-enhanced tools and platforms.
- Investigate potential security incidents, perform initial triage, and escalate issues to senior analysts or incident response teams as necessary.
- Assist in the development and refinement of AI-driven security playbooks and automated response mechanisms.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and assist in the remediation of identified weaknesses.
- Contribute to threat intelligence gathering and analysis, with a particular focus on AI-driven attack vectors.
- Participate in post-incident reviews and help implement preventive measures.
- Document security incidents, investigations, and procedures thoroughly and accurately.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, AI trends, and security technologies.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and best practices.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Exposure to security tools such as SIEMs, EDR, or firewalls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A foundational interest or basic knowledge in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning concepts related to security.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Google Cybersecurity Certificate).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Basic understanding of cloud security concepts (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Previous internship or project experience in cybersecurity or AI-related fields.
