Job Description
Are you a native English speaker with a passion for helping others learn and improve their conversational skills? EF Education First is seeking enthusiastic and engaging Online Language Practice Partners to facilitate casual, interactive English conversations with our global community of learners. This is a fully remote, work-from-home opportunity where you will provide a supportive environment for students to practice their English, build confidence, and achieve fluency. You won’t be teaching grammar or preparing lessons; your primary role is to be a friendly conversation partner, guiding discussions and offering constructive feedback on fluency and pronunciation in an informal setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in one-on-one or small group conversational sessions with English language learners online.
- Create a welcoming, encouraging, and patient environment for students to practice.
- Facilitate engaging discussions on various topics to stimulate natural conversation.
- Provide real-time, gentle feedback on pronunciation, intonation, and natural language usage.
- Adapt conversational pace and complexity to suit the student's proficiency level.
- Maintain accurate records of completed sessions and student interactions.
- Adhere to EF Education First's guidelines for online interaction and professionalism.
Required Skills
- Native-level fluency in English with clear pronunciation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
