Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Aide to provide essential administrative support across various departments within Cal Poly Pomona. This role is designed to be school hours friendly, offering flexibility for individuals balancing work with family responsibilities. The Office Aide will be crucial in ensuring smooth daily operations by assisting with general office tasks, maintaining records, and providing excellent customer service to faculty, staff, and students. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting a positive university environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, scanning, and mail distribution.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and manage correspondence.
- Greet visitors and provide general information and assistance.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
- Prepare basic reports, documents, and presentations as requested.
- Order and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Support various departmental projects and initiatives.
