Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our dedicated nursing team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific clinical unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and supervision to nursing staff on the assigned unit, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety.
  • Manage unit budget and resource allocation efficiently.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional development among nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and department heads to optimize patient care delivery.
  • Address patient and family concerns, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical research as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.

Required Skills

  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive clinical nursing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience (e.g., Charge Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related advanced degree.
  • Certification in nursing leadership (e.g., CNML, NE-BC).
  • Experience in the specific clinical area of the unit (e.g., Critical Care, Med-Surg, Oncology).
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
