Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Manager to join our dynamic team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our information security program, ensuring the protection of critical assets, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of security frameworks, and a proven track record in managing security operations and risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive information security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data loss prevention solutions.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Lead incident response planning and execution, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security incidents.
- Manage and mentor a team of security analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR) and internal security policies.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security best practices into all aspects of the organization's operations.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
- Stay informed about the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance our security posture.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in information security management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of information security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
- Expertise in network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and data protection.
- Experience with security auditing, risk assessment, and incident response methodologies.
- Proficiency with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, DLP).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze complex security issues and provide effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Information Security or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC).
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Project management experience in security initiatives.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
