Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Porters to join our vibrant team in Leicester. This is an immediate start position, and absolutely no prior experience is necessary – we will provide all the training you need! As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen, supporting our chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas.
- Wash and sterilize crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
- Assist with the unloading and storage of deliveries.
- Support chefs with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Ensure waste is managed efficiently and according to health and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or broken equipment to the kitchen management.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work diligently.
- Basic understanding of hygiene principles (training provided).
