Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and analytical Visual Discovery Specialist with a strong focus on app and technology content. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in enhancing how users discover apps and tech-related visual content across Google’s platforms. You will curate, categorize, and optimize visual assets, ensuring they are engaging, relevant, and discoverable, ultimately driving user engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate and categorize high-quality visual content (images, videos, graphics) for apps and technology products.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize visual content for discoverability across various Google surfaces (e.g., Google Play, Search, Discover).
- Analyze visual performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and marketing teams to align visual content strategies with product goals.
- Ensure compliance with content guidelines, legal requirements, and best practices for visual accessibility.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in visual media, app design, and technology to inform content decisions.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in content curation, digital media, or visual merchandising, preferably with a focus on apps or technology.
- Strong understanding of visual aesthetics, user experience, and content discoverability principles.
- Proficiency in content management systems and visual editing tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a 100% remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
- Experience with A/B testing and performance optimization of visual assets.
- Familiarity with Google's product ecosystem (e.g., Google Play Console, Google Analytics).
- Experience working with large-scale data sets and SQL.
