Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Heavy Lifting Helper – Moving & Delivery Support and play a crucial role in providing exceptional moving and delivery services to our valued customers in Uptown Dallas and surrounding areas. At Two Men and a Truck, we are committed to making every move a positive experience. We are looking for energetic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals who are ready to contribute their strength and teamwork to our growing operations. This is an on-site position requiring physical presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently lift, carry, and move various household and office items, including heavy furniture and appliances.
- Load and unload moving trucks according to established safety protocols and packing strategies.
- Assist with packing and unpacking customer belongings with care and attention to detail.
- Protect furniture and other items with appropriate wrapping and padding materials.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth moving process.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at every step of the move.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75+ lbs) consistently throughout the day.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a customer-first mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in moving, logistics, or a physically demanding role is a plus.
