Job Description
We are actively seeking an energetic and reliable Valet Parking Attendant to join our fast-paced team at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. This is an immediate hire opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment, excel in customer service, and are looking for a role with the added benefit of daily cash tips. As a Valet, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in creating a positive impression of our distinguished establishment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, opening doors and offering assistance with luggage.
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles in designated areas.
- Maintain an organized and accessible key system.
- Provide clear directions and information about the hotel and local area to guests.
- Inspect vehicles for any pre-existing damage upon acceptance and report any new damage immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and hotel safety regulations.
- Assist with other guest service duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, run, and lift for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a valet attendant in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with the Sacramento area and local attractions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
