Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Food Blogger Assistant with a dedicated focus on Pinterest Pin Strategy. This remote role will be instrumental in expanding the reach and engagement of our food-related content, specifically through expert Pinterest strategy. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and analyzing Pinterest campaigns to drive traffic to our food blog, increase brand awareness, and foster a vibrant online community around our culinary content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive Pinterest strategies to maximize visibility and traffic for food blog content.
  • Design and create engaging pins, including static images, video pins, and idea pins, optimized for Pinterest best practices.
  • Write compelling, keyword-rich pin descriptions and titles to improve searchability and click-through rates.
  • Monitor Pinterest trends, algorithm updates, and competitor activity to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Analyze Pinterest performance metrics using analytics tools, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
  • Assist with content scheduling, promotion, and cross-platform amplification for all food-related blog posts.
  • Conduct research on food trends, recipes, and culinary topics to inform content creation and pin design.
  • Collaborate effectively with the food blogging team, graphic designers, and other marketing professionals to ensure cohesive content strategy.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Pinterest for business, including creating and managing boards, pins, and campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of Pinterest SEO principles and keyword research techniques.
  • Strong content creation skills, including visual storytelling and persuasive copywriting.
  • Basic graphic design capabilities, preferably with tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for food, cooking, and the digital blogging landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Pinterest scheduling and analytics platforms such as Tailwind.
  • Basic knowledge of food photography and photo editing.
  • Familiarity with blogging platforms like WordPress.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
