Job Description
Are you a highly organised individual with exceptional communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dedicated Repossession Agency Dispatcher to join our night shift team in Coventry. This critical role involves coordinating field agents, managing real-time logistics, and ensuring the efficient and safe recovery of assets. You will be the central point of contact during night operations, responsible for dispatching assignments, monitoring progress, and responding to dynamic situations with calm professionalism. This position demands a proactive approach, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions to support our field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently dispatch field agents to repossession assignments, optimising routes and schedules for maximum productivity during night shifts.
- Monitor real-time progress of field agents, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for field agents, responding promptly to inquiries, issues, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all dispatch activities, agent movements, and asset recovery statuses.
- Communicate effectively with clients, law enforcement, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with all regulations.
- Utilise dispatch software and GPS tracking systems to manage and track vehicles and agents.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges quickly to minimise delays and ensure safety.
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports at the end of each night, detailing key activities and incidents.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics coordination role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong geographical knowledge and navigation abilities.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS tracking, and standard office applications.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, making sound decisions quickly.
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Reliability and the ability to commit to consistent night shift work.
- A proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience within the asset recovery, security, or emergency services sectors.
- Familiarity with compliance and legal procedures related to asset repossession.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and radio communication.
- A Level qualification or equivalent experience.
