Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior QA Automation Engineer with a passion for quality and strong skills in Python and C++ to join our dynamic and innovative team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, performance, and functionality of our cutting-edge software products. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, working closely with development teams to integrate testing throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for software components and systems using Python and C++.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure testability.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and work with developers to resolve them.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts.
  • Document test procedures, test plans, and test results.
  • Assist in defining and implementing QA best practices and processes.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages.
  • Familiarity with software testing methodologies and QA processes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Google Test, Catch2).
  • Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with performance or security testing.
