Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and looking for a low-stress, flexible way to enter the gaming industry? Electronic Arts is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Beginner Playtesters to join our team in Brisbane. This student-friendly, part-time role offers a unique opportunity to test unreleased games, provide valuable feedback, and contribute to the development of world-class titles. No prior experience is required – just a love for gaming and a keen eye for detail!
Key Responsibilities
- Play assigned video games and specific game features during development phases.
- Identify and accurately report bugs, glitches, and usability issues.
- Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, mechanics, and overall user experience.
- Follow test plans and instructions diligently.
- Collaborate with other playtesters and development teams to ensure game quality.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all unreleased game content.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for video games across various genres.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
- Familiarity with different gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Experience writing simple reports or logs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
