Job Description
Are you a skilled and customer-focused driver looking for a dynamic role with consistent work and excellent earning potential? Avis Budget Group is seeking dedicated Airport Shuttle Drivers to join our team in Wesley Chapel, serving the Tampa Bay area. Key Responsibilities
- Operate airport shuttle vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all customers and colleagues.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentability of the shuttle vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide clear and concise information to customers regarding services and procedures.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience (e.g., taxi, rideshare, delivery, bus, etc.).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs).
- Punctual, reliable, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an airport shuttle driver or in a similar guest transport role.
- Knowledge of the Tampa Bay area roadways and airport layout.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
- CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a plus, but not required for this role.
