Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Measure and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures as directed and within scope of practice.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (required prior to beginning training)
- Strong desire to help and care for others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior volunteer experience in a healthcare setting.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are a plus.
