Job Description

Merlin Entertainments is seeking enthusiastic and observant individuals to join our team as a Theme Park Mystery Guest for the summer season at SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium. This high-energy role involves covertly evaluating various aspects of our guest experience, from cleanliness and staff interaction to ride operations and overall atmosphere. Your feedback will be crucial in helping us maintain our high standards and ensure every guest has an unforgettable visit. Key Responsibilities

  • Discreetly visit designated attraction areas as a regular guest, following specific evaluation guidelines.
  • Observe and record details regarding cleanliness, guest flow, staff friendliness, knowledge, and efficiency.
  • Assess the functionality and appearance of facilities, exhibits, and amenities.
  • Provide objective and constructive feedback on all aspects of the guest journey, including ticketing, retail, food & beverage, and attractions.
  • Complete detailed evaluation reports promptly and accurately, using a provided scoring system.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality regarding your role and findings.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during evaluations.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills for comprehensive report writing.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain discretion.
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm for an active role.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with basic digital tools for report submission (e.g., Google Docs, online forms).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, quality assurance, or mystery shopping.
  • Familiarity with the operations of theme parks, aquariums, or other entertainment venues.
  • A passion for marine life and environmental conservation.
