Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and analytically-minded Market Research Scribe with a keen focus on Sentiment Analysis to join our dynamic team in Sugar Land. In this role, you will be instrumental in capturing, categorizing, and interpreting qualitative data from various sources to uncover consumer sentiment and market trends. You will work with cutting-edge tools and methodologies to transform unstructured text data into actionable insights, directly contributing to our clients’ strategic decisions. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong understanding of language nuances, and a passion for data-driven storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe and categorize qualitative data from surveys, social media, reviews, and other text-based sources.
- Apply sentiment analysis techniques to identify and quantify consumer opinions, attitudes, and emotions towards products, brands, and services.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and data scientists to refine categorization schemas and sentiment lexicons.
- Ensure data quality and consistency by performing regular audits and validation checks.
- Generate initial reports and summaries of sentiment trends, highlighting key insights and potential areas for further investigation.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss findings, methodologies, and project progress.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new sentiment analysis tools and market research techniques.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and categorization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of market research principles.

- Demonstrated interest in text analysis and consumer psychology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Linguistics, Sociology, or a related field.
- Prior experience with sentiment analysis software or platforms (e.g., NVivo, Qualtrics Text iQ, Brandwatch, Sprinklr).
- Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) concepts.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Ability to interpret complex qualitative data and synthesize findings.
