Job Description
Join FedEx Freight as a Linehaul Driver and become an essential part of our vast logistics network. This is a “no touch” freight position, meaning you’ll focus solely on driving and safe transportation, without the need for loading or unloading. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination in a professional manner
- Transport freight between FedEx Freight service centers
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and other necessary paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
- Represent FedEx Freight professionally at all times
Required Skills
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements
- Minimum of 2 years (24 months) verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LTL freight operations
- Geographic familiarity with Florida routes
- Proven track record of safe driving performance
- High School Diploma or GED
