Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical User Interface (UI) Evaluator to join our growing team, focusing specifically on AI-powered experiences. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for meticulously testing and providing critical feedback on the usability, intuitiveness, and overall user experience of AI-driven applications and features. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and AI engineers to ensure our cutting-edge solutions meet the highest standards of user-friendliness and effectiveness. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of UI/UX principles, and an interest in artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough UI/UX evaluations of AI-powered products and features across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
- Identify usability issues, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in design and functionality.
- Document detailed feedback, bug reports, and recommendations using established evaluation frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to communicate findings and propose solutions.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide input on test plans.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in UI/UX and AI interaction design.
- Contribute to the refinement of evaluation methodologies and guidelines.
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable user feedback.
- Ensure accessibility standards are met within AI interfaces.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in UI/UX evaluation, quality assurance, or user testing.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability heuristics.
- Familiarity with various UI testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in documenting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and machine learning applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
- Experience with AI-specific UI patterns and design challenges.
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG).
- Experience using bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Portfolio demonstrating previous evaluation or UX work.
