Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote YouTube Channel Assistant to support our content distribution team. This 100% remote role is crucial for ensuring our YouTube channels are meticulously maintained, with accurate metadata and timely content uploads. You will play a vital role in optimizing video discoverability and maintaining the high quality of our digital presence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for digital media and an eagerness to learn about YouTube channel management.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload new video content to designated YouTube channels following established protocols.
- Write and optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags for SEO and discoverability.
- Generate and apply compelling thumbnails.
- Manage playlists, ensuring content is organized logically and effectively.
- Monitor and moderate comments, adhering to community guidelines.
- Track and report on basic video performance metrics (views, engagement).
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to align upload schedules and promotional strategies.
- Perform routine channel audits to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and YouTube best practices.
Required Skills
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
- Basic understanding of SEO principles for YouTube.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Passion for video content and the YouTube platform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with YouTube Creator Studio.
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience in a digital media or content management role.
