Job Description

Sunshine State Piano Care is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Piano Tuner (Trainee). This is a rare opportunity to learn a highly specialized and rewarding trade from experienced professionals, ensuring the rich heritage of piano music continues. As a Trainee Piano Tuner, you will embark on a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills required to expertly tune, regulate, and repair pianos. You will work alongside our master tuners, gaining hands-on experience with various piano types and tuning techniques. This role is perfect for those who possess an excellent ear, meticulous attention to detail, and a desire to master a craft.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning the theoretical principles of piano acoustics and tuning.
- Assisting experienced tuners with on-site tuning and repair appointments.
- Observing and practicing various tuning methods and regulation techniques.
- Developing proficiency in using specialized tuning tools and equipment.
- Maintaining accurate records of services performed and training progress.
- Adhering to safety protocols and company standards for service excellence.
- Gradually performing basic tuning and minor repairs under supervision.
