Job Description
Join the Amazon team as a Fulfillment Associate in our e-commerce warehouse. This role involves picking, packing, and shipping customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will be part of a fast-paced environment that relies on teamwork to meet daily targets and deliver smiles to customers. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to perform physical tasks consistently. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and put away inventory using scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Pick customer orders accurately from shelves and other storage areas.
- Pack orders carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or order pickers (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
- Basic computer navigation skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 pounds.
- Ability to repeatedly bend, squat, reach, and twist.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems or RF scanners.
