Job Description
Are you passionate about coffee and creating memorable customer experiences? Costa Coffee is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Baristas to join our team in Harrogate’s busy tourist hubs. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position, perfect for those seeking consistent work during the peak tourist season. You will be instrumental in delivering the high-quality service and delicious beverages that our customers expect from Costa Coffee. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment, right in the heart of one of North Yorkshire’s most beautiful towns.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including expertly crafted coffees, teas, and other drinks, adhering to Costa Coffee's high standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring every customer has a positive experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the coffee shop, including seating areas, work stations, and equipment, in line with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory management, and ensuring supplies are replenished as needed.
- Operate till systems, handle cash and card payments efficiently, and accurately reconcile daily sales.
- Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

- Basic numeracy skills for cash handling.
