Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and dynamic Pinterest Motion Graphics Artist with a keen eye for high-energy ad content. In this role, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, designing, and animating compelling motion graphics tailored specifically for Pinterest ad campaigns. You will work closely with our creative and strategy teams to produce visually stunning and engaging content that captures attention and drives results. If you have a passion for animation, a deep understanding of Pinterest’s platform nuances, and a drive to create impactful advertising, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and animate high-quality motion graphics for diverse Pinterest advertising campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, copywriters, and strategists to translate campaign objectives into visually dynamic animations.
- Ensure all motion graphics adhere to brand guidelines, client specifications, and Pinterest's best practices for ad formats.
- Stay current with the latest animation techniques, software, and Pinterest trends to continuously elevate our creative output.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, agency environment.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for visual storytelling on Pinterest.
- Prepare and optimize animation files for various Pinterest ad placements and specifications.
Required Skills
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, including advanced animation techniques and plugins.
- Strong command of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for asset creation and manipulation.
- Proven experience creating motion graphics specifically for digital advertising, with a focus on social media platforms like Pinterest.
- Exceptional understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-energy, engaging motion graphics for advertising.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics, or a related creative field.
- Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender).
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Understanding of marketing principles and conversion-focused ad creative.
- Experience working in an advertising agency environment.
