Job Description

Are you passionate about mobile technology and have a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Netflix App Quality Rater to join our remote team. This is a crucial role focused on evaluating the quality, functionality, and user experience of the Netflix mobile application. You will be responsible for meticulously testing various features, identifying bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement, and providing comprehensive feedback to ensure a high-quality streaming experience for millions of users. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a world-renowned entertainment platform from anywhere in the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed, scenario-based testing of the Netflix mobile application across various mobile devices and operating systems.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and usability issues with clear, concise descriptions and reproducible steps.
  • Evaluate app performance, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
  • Assess content playback quality, subtitle synchronization, and language options.
  • Provide subjective feedback on design elements, navigation, and feature implementation.
  • Adhere to strict project guidelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain consistent communication with project managers regarding progress and blockers.
  • Participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistent rating standards.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in using mobile devices (iOS and Android) and navigating various mobile apps.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
