Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a thriving private practice in New Port Richey, FL. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced FNP to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages within a collaborative and patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and fostering long-term patient relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe medications, treatments, and other therapeutic interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and families on disease prevention and health promotion.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR).
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Required Skills

  • Current FNP licensure in the state of Florida.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • ANCC or AANP board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an FNP in a primary care or private practice setting.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a diverse patient population.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms.
  • Membership in professional FNP organizations.
