Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Casual General Hand to join our team for an immediate opening. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, focusing on general support tasks within our New Port Richey facility. As a General Hand, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation and cleanliness of our premises, assisting with various day-to-day duties, and ensuring a safe and organized environment for both customers and associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the store and surrounding areas.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries, moving merchandise and materials as required.
- Organize and stock shelves, ensuring products are correctly placed and accessible.
- Operate basic equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Support store associates with various ad-hoc tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a tidy and hazard-free work environment at all times.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail, warehouse, or similar general labor environment.
- Familiarity with basic safety procedures and equipment operation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
