Job Description

Accenture is seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Google Data Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data within Google’s various platforms and tools for our clients. This is a 100% remote position, requiring a self-starter with a strong commitment to data quality and precision. You will work on diverse projects, ranging from data cleansing and validation to supporting data-driven initiatives, ensuring that all data adheres to the highest standards. Your expertise will directly impact the reliability of insights and decisions made by our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform rigorous data validation and cleansing to ensure high accuracy across Google platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Cloud).
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies, inconsistencies, and errors proactively.
  • Develop and implement data quality checks and processes.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to optimize data pipelines for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Document data definitions, data quality rules, and data governance policies.
  • Generate reports on data quality metrics and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with Google's data best practices, platform changes, and emerging data quality tools.
  • Provide recommendations for improving overall data accuracy and reliability.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Ability to identify data anomalies and troubleshoot data quality issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Cloud Data Engineer, Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ), or similar certifications.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, R) for data processing.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau).
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics).
  • Prior experience in a data quality or data governance role.
