Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Google Admin Junior to join our growing IT team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an individual passionate about technology and eager to learn the foundational aspects of enterprise-level Google Workspace administration. You will work closely with senior administrators to provide support, maintain systems, and implement best practices, all while working 100% remotely. This role is designed for learning, offering comprehensive training to help you master Google’s business standards and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily administration and support of Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Meet, Chat, Vault, etc.) for our global workforce.
  • Provision and de-provision user accounts, manage groups, and configure security settings under supervision.
  • Provide front-line technical support to end-users experiencing issues with Google Workspace applications, escalating complex problems as needed.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot basic issues related to Google Workspace.
  • Help maintain and update documentation for Google Workspace configurations, procedures, and user guides.
  • Participate in projects aimed at improving Google Workspace functionality, security, and user experience.
  • Learn and apply company-specific business standards and policies related to data management and user access.
  • Stay informed about new Google Workspace features and updates to contribute to effective utilization.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of IT concepts and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Google applications (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) as a user.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing environments.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with help desk support or customer service.
  • Any relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Professional Certificate).
  • Understanding of cloud-based services and SaaS applications.
