Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Data Processor to join our remote team. This is a crucial role responsible for accurately and efficiently processing high volumes of pharmacy-related data, ensuring the integrity and precision of our information systems. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, an exceptional eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 100% remote work environment. You will play a vital part in supporting our pharmacy operations, directly impacting patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and process high volumes of prescription data, patient information, and insurance details into designated systems.
  • Verify and cross-reference data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations and company privacy policies.
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacists, technicians, and other team members regarding data clarification or issues.
  • Perform regular data audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Assist with special data entry projects as needed, contributing to process improvements.
  • Manage time effectively to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in high-volume data entry or a related administrative role.
  • Proven typing speed of at least 60 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and/or pharmacy systems.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Experience with remote collaboration tools and virtual team environments.
