Job Description
Are you detail-oriented with a keen eye for linguistic nuance? Experian is seeking a motivated Text Coherence Evaluator to join our innovative team. This contract role embraces ‘smart working’ principles, offering flexibility and consistent weekly pay, allowing you to contribute to cutting-edge data evaluation projects from anywhere within the UK. As a vital part of our data science and AI initiatives, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the accuracy and reliability of our text-based systems by assessing the coherence, relevance, and quality of various text outputs. This is a 100% remote position, designed for individuals who thrive in an independent, results-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and score the coherence, relevance, and accuracy of diverse text outputs generated by AI models.
- Identify and categorize inconsistencies, logical gaps, grammatical errors, and stylistic issues in complex textual data.
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback and clear justifications for evaluation scores to facilitate model improvement.
- Adhere strictly to established guidelines and quality standards for all text evaluation tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with data scientists, linguists, and project managers to refine evaluation criteria and processes.
- Manage your workload efficiently to meet weekly submission deadlines and project targets.
Required Skills
- Exceptional English language proficiency (native or near-native level).
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail in text analysis.
- Proven ability to identify nuanced errors in grammar, syntax, logical flow, and overall text quality.
- Familiarity with various text formats and content types (e.g., articles, reports, conversations).
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with online collaboration tools and platforms.

- A Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
