Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Arts & Crafts Instructor Aide to join our dedicated team. This full-time position is perfect for someone passionate about working with children and fostering their artistic development. As an aide, you will support our lead instructors in delivering engaging and educational arts and crafts programs for various age groups. You will play a crucial role in preparing materials, assisting participants, maintaining a safe and inspiring environment, and ensuring every child has a positive and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead instructors in planning and executing diverse arts and crafts activities for children.
  • Prepare and organize all necessary materials and supplies before and after classes.
  • Provide guidance and encouragement to participants, helping them complete projects and explore their creativity.
  • Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and adherence to program guidelines.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring studio or classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
  • Encourage active participation and positive social interaction among all participants.
  • Assist with set-up and take-down of equipment and supplies for various programs.

Required Skills

  • Passion for working with children of all ages.
  • Basic knowledge of various arts and crafts techniques (e.g., drawing, painting, collage, sculpture).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
