As a Patient Handling Aide, you will provide vital support to our nursing teams, ensuring patients are moved safely and comfortably, contributing significantly to their well-being and recovery. Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with safe and comfortable transfers, repositioning, and mobility, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Support nursing staff in daily patient care activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor patient comfort and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
- Maintain privacy and dignity for all patients, adhering to professional standards of conduct.
- Participate in ongoing training and development, including manual handling techniques and basic life support.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Adhere to all Trust policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
