Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with safe and comfortable transfers, repositioning, and mobility, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Support nursing staff in daily patient care activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor patient comfort and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
  • Maintain privacy and dignity for all patients, adhering to professional standards of conduct.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development, including manual handling techniques and basic life support.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
  • Adhere to all Trust policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
