Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Casual Bank Teller to join our team in Seattle. This flexible part-time role offers 15-20 hours per week, perfect for individuals looking to balance work with other commitments. As a Casual Bank Teller, you will be the front-line representative of KeyBank, providing exceptional service to our clients, processing transactions accurately, and identifying opportunities to assist them with their financial needs. Key Responsibilities
- Process a variety of banking transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing checks.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting clients warmly and addressing their inquiries professionally.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions.
- Identify customer needs and effectively refer them to appropriate banking products or services.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist clients with digital banking solutions and self-service options.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain client confidentiality.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance banking knowledge and skills.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in cash handling or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous banking or financial services experience.
- Associate’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese) is a plus.
- Experience with sales or referral in a customer-facing role.
