Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Returns Handler to join our logistics team in Brighton, specifically focusing on makeup products. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient and hygienic processing of returned makeup items. This involves thorough inspection, adherence to strict hygiene protocols for handling products, and careful re-packing for redistribution or disposal. Your attention to detail will ensure that only products meeting our rigorous quality standards are returned to stock, while maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and organization within the returns department.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and meticulously inspect returned makeup products for damage, tampering, and hygiene compliance.
- Categorize returns based on their condition: suitable for re-packing, requiring disposal, or further investigation.
- Clean and sanitize products where appropriate and in line with company hygiene standards.
- Accurately re-pack makeup items into their original or suitable packaging, ensuring presentation quality.
- Update inventory systems with precise details of processed returns.
- Identify and report recurring issues with product returns or packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the returns department.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and achieve departmental targets.
