Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and have a keen eye for detail? Xbox Game Studios is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Game Tester to join our remote team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the quality and success of upcoming and existing titles across various genres and platforms. As a Game Tester, you will play a crucial role in identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and glitches, ensuring our games deliver the best possible experience to our global player base. This is a 100% direct hire position, offering the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases thoroughly to identify software defects.
- Accurately document, report, and track bugs using designated bug tracking software.
- Provide clear and concise steps to reproduce identified issues.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and other QA team members.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Provide constructive feedback on game design, usability, and overall player experience.
- Adhere to testing schedules and meet deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and gaming platforms.
