Job Description
Are you passionate about live events and looking for a dynamic way to spend your summer weekends? Live Nation Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Weekend Festival Crew in Salt Lake City for casual, part-time summer work. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in event management, meet new people, and be at the heart of the city’s most exciting festivals. No prior experience is necessary – we’re looking for energy, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn! You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our festival-goers have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including staging, signage, and vendor booths.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to festival attendees, directing them to various attractions, facilities, and points of interest.
- Support ticketing and entry operations, including scanning tickets and managing guest flow.
- Monitor designated areas for cleanliness and safety, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Help with crowd management and maintain orderly queues.
- Distribute information, programs, and promotional materials as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other crew members and event staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to weekend availability.
- Excellent customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift (up to 25 lbs), and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in events, hospitality, or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with local Salt Lake City venues and event spaces.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and holidays.
- A genuine passion for music, arts, and live entertainment.
