Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and efficiently along a dedicated route.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and submit all necessary paperwork on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, fleet managers, and customers.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight without any loading or unloading responsibilities (no-touch freight).
- Represent Swift Transportation professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A).
- Minimum of 2 years (24 months) of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and PSP report.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Familiarity with the assigned dedicated route area.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
