Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Site Labourer to join our construction team in King’s Lynn. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the construction industry. You will be instrumental in ensuring our sites run smoothly and safely, providing essential support to various trades. Full safety gear will be provided to all successful candidates, ensuring you have everything needed to work safely and efficiently on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters, electricians) with their tasks.
  • Perform general site cleanup and maintenance, including waste removal and sweeping.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment, moving them to designated areas on site.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Erect and dismantle temporary structures, such as scaffolding or hoarding, as required.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support the site management team with various ad-hoc duties as needed.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on a construction site.
  • Willingness to learn and take instruction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
  • Previous experience working on a construction site (even short-term).
  • Knowledge of basic construction materials and tools.
