Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Part-time Cloakroom Attendant to join our dynamic team for weekend nightlife events. This role is perfect for someone with a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing excellent guest service. As a Cloakroom Attendant, you will be the first and last point of contact for many of our event attendees, ensuring their belongings are securely stored and efficiently retrieved, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival at the cloakroom.
  • Receive and securely store coats, bags, and other personal items.
  • Issue unique claim tickets to guests for their stored belongings.
  • Safely and efficiently retrieve items for guests upon request, verifying claim tickets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure cloakroom area.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with a positive attitude.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding security and guest service.
  • Assist with other light duties as needed during events.

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs).
  • Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend evening shifts.
  • Customer-service oriented with a positive and friendly attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with event operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
