Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Remote Game Data Verifier with a strong focus on financial accuracy to join our dynamic team. In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial data generated from various gaming platforms and operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of financial principles, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the reliability of our financial reporting and operational analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy and consistency of financial data across multiple gaming systems and databases.
- Conduct detailed audits and reconciliations of game-generated financial transactions (e.g., in-game purchases, revenue streams, payout data).
- Identify and investigate discrepancies or anomalies in financial data, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Develop and implement robust data verification processes and quality control measures.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on data accuracy, highlighting potential risks and suggesting improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, industry regulations, and data governance standards.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses by providing validated data.
- Collaborate with game development, finance, and analytics teams to understand data flows and improve data integrity.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data verification, financial analysis, or auditing.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and data reconciliation.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to identify patterns, discrepancies, and trends in large datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
- Experience with database querying tools (e.g., SQL) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience within the gaming industry or with financial data from digital products.
