Job Description
Join the Amazon team as a Picker Packer in Spokane! We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to help us fulfill customer orders. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and packing a wide variety of items for shipment, ensuring our customers receive their products quickly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using handheld scanners or other equipment.
- Efficiently pack items into appropriate boxes, ensuring proper dunnage and packaging standards are met.
- Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures within the warehouse environment.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Be able to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand English instructions.
- Basic computer navigation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
