Job Description
Are you passionate about streaming content and have an eagle eye for detail? Nielsen is seeking a dedicated and flexible Binge-Watch Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This unique role involves extensive viewing and analysis of Netflix content, providing critical insights that help shape our understanding of audience engagement and content performance. You will be instrumental in categorizing, tagging, and reporting on various aspects of streaming media, contributing directly to our industry-leading data and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in focused, systematic viewing of assigned Netflix content (series, films, documentaries, etc.).
- Analyze and tag content based on predefined criteria, including genre, themes, character development, pacing, and emotional impact.
- Identify and document key narrative elements, plot points, and cultural references.
- Provide detailed written feedback and reports on content quality, viewer experience, and potential audience appeal.
- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to refine tagging methodologies and reporting standards.
- Stay current with streaming trends and changes in content production and consumption.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all viewed content and project details.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
- Proven ability to consume large volumes of media content systematically.
- Excellent written communication skills for comprehensive reporting and feedback.
- Deep familiarity with the Netflix platform and a wide range of its content.
