Job Description

As a Pinterest Business Analyst – Strategy & Insights at Ogilvy, you will be instrumental in leveraging Pinterest data to uncover strategic insights and drive performance for our clients’ marketing campaigns. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, creativity, and a deep understanding of the Pinterest platform’s capabilities and user behavior. You will collaborate closely with creative, media, and client service teams to develop data-driven strategies that optimize content, audience targeting, and campaign effectiveness on Pinterest. Your expertise will directly contribute to our clients’ success by transforming raw data into actionable recommendations and compelling narratives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze Pinterest campaign performance data, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics and communicate insights effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth audience research and competitive analysis on Pinterest to inform content strategy and targeting.
  • Collaborate with strategy and creative teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for Pinterest content and campaign development.
  • Monitor industry trends and Pinterest platform updates to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients, clearly articulating the business impact.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to model and forecast Pinterest campaign performance.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in data analysis, particularly within social media or digital marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Expertise in Pinterest analytics, including familiarity with Pinterest Ads Manager and business tools.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and KPIs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field or MBA.
