Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Private Estate Driver for a distinguished private residence in the exclusive Hyde Park neighborhood of Cincinnati. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who values discretion, reliability, and excellent service. The role involves providing safe, punctual, and comfortable transportation for principals and their guests. A key aspect of this position is the potential for live-in accommodation, offering a secure and convenient arrangement for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will possess impeccable driving skills, a strong understanding of privacy, and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and scheduling. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the private estate, requiring a commitment to excellence and a flexible approach to duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and efficient transportation for principals and their guests to various destinations, including appointments, events, and airports.
- Maintain all estate vehicles in pristine condition, including regular cleaning, fueling, and scheduling routine maintenance and repairs.
- Plan optimal routes, considering traffic patterns, road conditions, and security implications.
- Ensure strict adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist with luggage and other items as needed, demonstrating courtesy and professionalism.
- Manage and maintain accurate driving logs and vehicle records.
- Exhibit utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of the principals' personal and professional lives.
- Be available for scheduled and occasional unscheduled driving assignments, including evenings and weekends.
- Coordinate with household staff to ensure seamless scheduling and support for estate activities.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a private estate or executive chauffeur capacity.
- Exceptional knowledge of Cincinnati and surrounding areas.
- Strong navigation skills, including proficiency with GPS and mapping applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Defensive driving certification.
- Experience with luxury vehicles and high-end security protocols.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Prior experience in a live-in household staff role.
