Job Description
Are you a compassionate and dedicated student looking for a meaningful paid internship experience in the healthcare sector? Comfort Keepers in New Port Richey, Florida, is seeking enthusiastic Caregiving Interns to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in home care, support elderly and disabled individuals, and contribute positively to your community. As a Caregiving Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals, learning the nuances of personalized care, client communication, and professional development in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Provide companionship and engaging conversation, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's health, behavior, or living conditions to senior staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
