Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated students for a flexible work experience opportunity focused on Google projects. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience in a dynamic professional services environment, working alongside experienced teams on real-world projects utilizing Google Cloud Platform and other Google technologies. You will gain exposure to project methodologies, client engagement, and cutting-edge tech solutions, enhancing your resume and professional network. This role offers flexibility to accommodate academic schedules while providing meaningful contributions to our client projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project teams in researching, designing, and implementing solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Support data analysis, documentation, and reporting related to Google-focused initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior consultants and engineers on various project phases, from discovery to deployment.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and learn about client challenges and solutions.
- Perform quality assurance tasks and assist with system testing.
- Prepare presentations and other client-facing materials under supervision.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, preferably with some familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior academic or personal project experience with GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Compute Engine, AI Platform).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with Agile methodologies or project management tools.
- Demonstrated interest in consulting or technology solutions.
