Job Description

Join our dynamic team at Coca-Cola Beverages Florida as a Labeling Machine Operator. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate operation of labeling machines on our production lines. You will ensure that all products are correctly labeled according to quality standards and production schedules. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive factory environment. You will be an integral part of our manufacturing process, contributing directly to the quality and readiness of our products for distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor labeling machines to ensure continuous and efficient production.
  • Perform routine adjustments and minor maintenance on labeling equipment as needed.
  • Load labeling materials (labels, glue, etc.) into machines accurately and safely.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on labeled products, ensuring proper placement, adhesion, and legibility.
  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and report complex issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Accurately complete production logs and other required documentation.
  • Collaborate with other production team members to achieve daily output targets.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proven mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, factory environment.
  • Basic understanding of production processes and safety procedures.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or food/beverage setting.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial trucks.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals or schematics.
  • Experience with inventory management systems.
